We are located in the heart of the Eden Valley, not far from the shores of Ullswater, and the peaks of the Lake District National Park. The Strickland Arms, Penrith is located in the peaceful village of Great Strickland. Great food, great hosts and most importantly, hot showers and comfortable accommodation. We offer secure lock-up space for bikes as well as a spot for you to hose them down and equipment to pump up your tires.
There are seven unique accommodation options available, from pub rooms to quirky hand built LogYurts, LogByres and a Shepherd's Hut - there really is something for everyone.
Run by the owners of Yellow Jersey Cycling, the friendly Strickland Arms Pub is where you want to be for your cycling trip. Fellow cycling enthusiasts, hospitable staff, great nosh and more.
We have 2 convenient en-suite rooms in the pub. Ideal for those looking for a room for 1-2 people.
Our hand-built LogByres and LogYurt are the perfect, quirky huts for relaxing in after a long day out. Roomy, creative but with all the modern features for a comfortable stay, you can not go wrong!
Each ensuite yurt sleeps a maximum of 6 people.
